Have you ever bullshitted an assignment so hard you basically laugh after every sentence you write
Anonymous asked: It's called SELF ESTEEM for a reason. YOU make YOURSELF feel good. You don't have someone else do it for you. And there are so many fucking videos titled "What Girls find Attractive" and saying that they want someone who is smart, ambitious (going places), can make them laugh (entertain them), physically very attractive: tall, dark hair, big body build (petite, short girls. Blonde / Brunette hair)" Everything in parenthesis are what the boys said and got hate for, but nothing said to the girls..
I am aware of what self esteem is and not a lot of people in this day and age have it because of boys/girls giving other boys/girls crap for whatever stuff such as the stuff that is listed above. I give you props for bringing the “what girls find attractive” thing up but I was just trying to make a point by saying that it’s wrong. Not to mention that if there are already videos of girls doing this to boys.. why add fuel on the fire?
Anonymous asked: Cameron, Nash, and JC never once said to change your hair color, they said they prefer one over the other. They said change up the styles, yes. They didn't say don't wear makeup. They said not so much, yes. You're blowing this "entertain me" thing way out of proportion. Girls say guys are there to entertain them, but that's socially acceptable, right? They didn't sign up to be role models to anyone. And if someone is insecure, that's their fault. Not Cam / Nash / JC's.
If they are posting vines of themselves and are referring to girls/boys who follow them on twitter, tumblr, or vine as fans.. then they are automatically role models to those people because fans usually look up to the person(s) that they are a fan of. They are always saying that all girls are beautiful no matter what meanwhile they are giving them this list of demands… ? There is a difference between a preference and straight up telling someone “ew I don’t like your hair.” or “shave your armpits” and they straight up told women to “shave” or “entertain” them. If anything no one should be obligated to do so because it is THEIR decision. And maybe people wear make up to cover themselves up because maybe their ashamed of themselves or have insecurities. They have a large YOUNG and impressionable female audience, they should have either just worded their words better or just not upload the video at all. So yes, it kind of is Cam, Nash, and JC’s fault because they are making an impact on these girls/boys.
Okay I know that everyone is flipping out over this whole Nash grier, JC and Cameron thing but I just need to voice my opinion on this. I watched snippets of the video because I was like “wait.. why is everyone freaking out over this” “what happened now” and here I am ten minutes later left completely in shock.. AND FUCKING FURIOUS. Let me start of by saying that I had so much respect for these three boys and I loved every single one of them and since I’ve been having a lot of insecurities, this video was just the cherry on the shit sundae.
These 3 boys had the fucking nerve to objectify women and give demands to women by stating that they can’t have hair on their face or body parts such as legs or arms, change their hairstyle, change their hair color, wear make up, entertain them, and get “freaky” with them when they are alone. And on top of that they decided to add “AND DON’T FORGET TO BE YOURSELF AND DON’T CHANGE FOR ANYONE.” at the end of their dumbass video. *long pause of silence* *coughs* *bows head in shame* *shakes head in shame* How fucking stupid could you honestly get from there. Really. All of that bullshit that was just stated was completely unrealistic, misogynistic, and just down right wrong and you (the three boys) are going to have the nerve to put a “be yourself” at the end of the video as if it makes it any better? That is what pissed me off the most.
First of all, in case you haven’t noticed, there are about 400,000 people subscribed to your channel. A lot of those subscribers just so happen to be young girls like ME. Us young girls happen to look up to YOU and you are therefore role models to us so no matter what you do, you will be held responsible for anything you say as it can affect us since you are our role model(s). Because society nowadays is forcing our young minds to think how others think, dress how others dress, or be exactly the same or else society “wont like us”, we are under a lot of pressure already and we already have enough insecurities. Therefore, this just proves that you all are just like the assholes in society today due to your awful personalities and demands for girls.
Second, how would you like it if someone you looked up to made a video demanding that guys look a certain way such as shaving every inch of hair on their bodies. I mean are you looking for a fucking fish? Or asking for guys to have a six pack. Even asking them to be taller than us. You probably wouldn’t like that would you? Why’d you make that video about us girls then? You should have thought twice about posting that on YOUTUBE. Only one of the most visited websites in the world. Honestly, what were you even thinking? Why would you be so stupid? That video was disgusting and I am at a loss for words of how shocked I am that the boys who I love would post a video like that. I’m going to sit here and wait for an apology video since you already took down the original video. I’m literally going to wait for an apology video to just surface upon the internet so I can think “Maybe they do have a sense of reality.” But until then, girls are already insecure enough, why bother doing something like this? You said “be yourself” at the end of the video.. yeah.. along with all of the other demands you listed for girls to be ”perfect.” I mean come on man. That is just perfect contradiction right there. Alright, I’m done.. I could go on and on but I really don’t have the energy to do so anymore. Goodnight.
